Can I Buy You a Drink?
"Tipsy" - slight drunk (Oxford Dictionary)
Hello and welcome to my page, The Tipsy Troubadour. My name is Keegan and I'm a twenty-something graduate student studying vocal performance hoping to make it as an actor/singer someday. I have always had a passion for teaching and performance, and after three years of being in the classroom, decided to pursue my second love - musical theatre. Now, as I embark on my final semester of graduate school, I am excited to jump into the ever-terrifying world of auditioning and searching for that first professional gig.
Outside of theatre, I love reading and writing (self-help books are my favorite go-to read as they provide simple and creative ways to spice up your life.) I wanted to find an activity outside of the constant grind of the performer life to express my creativity, hence the beginning of The Tipsy Troubadour. The specific definition of the words can be found above, but in my own terminology translates to "The Drunken Singer." I love good wine and liquor (and you can guess where the singer part came from) so this particular blog name made perfect sense - and who doesn't love an alliteration?!
Finding new ways to enhance my wardrobe, organize my life, and become a healthier/smarter version of myself has always been of interest to me. I love using my Pinterest (@tipsytroubadour) to find outfit inspiration - for clothes I already have existing in my closet and to uncover potential purchases. In addition to clothes, I have recently become infatuated with grooming, be it skincare or hair. Exercising and nutrition have become a priority in my life as well as overall lifestyle choices, from daily organization to discovering ways to enrich my living space.
The Tipsy Troubadour will focus primarily on those items listed above (i.e. fashion, organization, self-care, and home/living space.) It is my hope to share tips, tricks, and experiences that have worked for me to implement into your lie and help you discover a more authentic version of yourself. Along the way I will also highlight individuals and/or small businesses that are experts in these areas to promote the awesome work they do, all the while providing tip-top recommendations for you.
I invite you to subscribe to The Tipsy Troubadour to make sure you don't miss out on new content, follow my instagram (@tuckerk15) to see me put these ideas into daily routine, and check out my Pinterest (@tipsytroubadour) for new ideas to add to your own Pinterest collection!
Please, join me for a drink (and maybe a song or two.) I think you'll enjoy the company and conversation.
